When writing this track, our goal was to write a song that maintained the intensity, complexity, and speed of our full band materiel, but was simply played on acoustic guitar. That was one of our biggest points overall when writing this album, we didn't want to write acoustic songs, we wanted to write songs that happened to be acoustic. That being said, we've played this live as a full band and it still holds up, so it is going to be on our next release as well!
lyrics
There is a barrier between you and me
Not sure I can topple it
Towers as high as can be between the trees, release
You and me agree we’re week
This wall is an obstacle, I don’t think we can climb
Maybe this is for the best, save ourselves some time
Nothing left here to salvage
I’m thinking that it’s too late
It’s clear that we’ve lost our passion
Please tell me that you can relate
We stand on hollow ground
We can’t seem to make it out
